PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an olefinic copolymer capable of giving a resin composition excellent in balance among high optical characteristics, moisture permeability, and molding and processing characteristics and having high transparency. SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises an olefinic resin composition which contains the olefinic copolymer and a cyclic olefinic thermoplastic resin, wherein the olefinic copolymer is formed by copolymerizing a specific polar radical-containing cyclic olefin monomer [A] with at least one kind of non-polar olefin monomer [B] which is selected from a group comprising a specific non-polar cyclic olefin monomer, a monocyclic olefin monomer composed of a non-polar radical, and a straight-chain and/or branched-chain olefin monomer composed of a non-polar radical.
