PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing a fire resistant lining layer capable of quietly, efficiently, and quickly removing the lining layer while suppressing dust. SOLUTION: The fire resistant lining layer is partitioned into a plurality by cut grooves, brackets are detachably fixed to two adjacent partitioned small lining layer faces, an extensible cylinder is arranged between the brackets, the cylinder is extended to push each bracket in separating directions, and a small lining layer fixed with the bracket is separated and removed from an inner wall while moving it by pressing force.
