PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid leakage predicting method, easily implemented and having high reliability. SOLUTION: In this liquid leakage monitoring device, monitoring passage r' is connected in parallel or in series to an estimate object passage r for predicting the occurrence of liquid leakage, and the liquid leakage due to corrosion of a passage wall from the inside of the passage caused by passing a liquid is caused earlier in the monitoring passage r' than the estimate object passage r. In this setting situation, the liquid is passed through the monitoring passage r' concurrently with passing the liquid through the estimate object passage r, and in this liquid passing state, the occurrence of liquid leakage due to corrosion of the passage wall in the monitoring passage r' is detected.
