PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively open and quickly close a valve needle 10. SOLUTION: A fuel injector used for an internal combustion engine comprises a valve needle seat 16 and the valve needle 10 which is freely fitted. An actuator 20 shaping a piezoelectric actuator stack 22 is arranged to control fuel pressure in a control room 50, and the surface related to the valve needle 10 is exposed to fuel pressure in the control room. A load transmission means 36, which is desirable to shape a motion invertor, transmits the motion of actuators 20, 22 to the valve needle 10. The load transmission means can freely contract and expand receiving an actuator motion so as to change the fuel pressure in the control room 50, therefor contains a bellows device 42 to control the motion of the valve needle 10 for the valve needle seat 16.
