PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle device capable of limiting display function and operation function according to a traveling state, while preventing an increase in processing burden, and easily confirming the function limited state. SOLUTION: In this device, an audio device 100 is provided with a traveling state determining part 132 for determining a traveling state of a vehicle, a lid part 126 provided on the surface of a body of equipment, a rotating and driving part 134 for performing an opening/closing operation of the lid part 126 according to the determined traveling state, a detailed operation part 122 corresponding to an open state of the lid part 126, and a simple operation part 124 corresponding to a close state.
