PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance appropriateness of ball game practice by selectively throwing a non-turning ball, a horizontally-turning ball and a diagonally turning ball with a simple operation, when a hollow ball for ball game relatively large in diameter such as a volley ball or succor ball is thrown. SOLUTION: A throwing device X comprises a machine frame 2 installed turnably in midair and securely on a frame base 1 having a roughly gripping frame structure having openings opened at least in the front face and the rear face, at least a pair of rotors 3 and 4 comprising rotary drums 32 and 42 pivoted on two stages, upper and lower, with an adjustable distance between the two within the machine frame 2, directly connected with drive shafts of motors 31 and 41, respectively, and having rotation faces thereof opposed to each other, a controller 5 for controlling start and stop of the rotors 3 and 4 and individually controlling the number of revolutions of the rotors and a mobile shooting frame body 6 movably held on the machine frame 2 for introducing and charging the ball for ball game between the rotors 3 and 4 through the opening in the rear face.
