<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biometric collating device for notifying a collation object person that the position or size of biological information is proper, and for acquiring the biological information in state optimal for the collation, and for improving collating precision. <P>SOLUTION: This biometric collating device for deciding whether or not a figure is the principal by using a face image is configured so that when the face region of an input image is positioned and sized suitably for collation, a circular pattern in green can be displayed in the same size as the size of the face image so as to be overlapped with the face region of the input image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
