<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a stent by cutting the side face of a thin cylinder with an end mill. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the stent comprises holding the thin cylinder 4 with at least a holding means 5 and cuts the side face of the held cylinder 4 with the end mill 1 to form a plurality of opening parts 41.
