PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an appropriate termination voltage of a battery regardless of variation in load of an apparatus. SOLUTION: The termination voltage detector 100 comprises a low-pass filter 2 for taking out the DC component of voltage of a battery 1 in a portable apparatus, and a voltage detector 3 for detecting the DC component of voltage of the battery 1 takes out by the low-pass filter 2. A microcomputer 4 makes a decision whether the battery voltage detected by the voltage detector 3 is equal to or lower than a preset termination voltage or not, and performs control for ending the system of the portable apparatus if the battery voltage is lower than the preset termination voltage.
