PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an optical recorder low in running cost by using a multibeam generator high in the availability of light. SOLUTION: In the optical recorder for modulating/scanning a plurality of laser beams emitted from the multibeam generator and scanning on a photosensitive material, the multibeam generator is provided with: a plurality of semiconductor laser modules which have a semiconductor laser for emitting a laser beam and a lens for collimating the laser beam; and a plurality of oppositely-facing mirrors which transmit or reflect a plurality of laser beams emitted from the plurality of semiconductor laser modules. The plurality of semiconductor laser modules and the plurality of mirrors are installed so that the plurality of laser beams are emitted at equal angular intervals from a certain point.
