PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device where an external heating roller uniformly abuts on a heating roller, so that the temperature distribution of the surface of the heating roller is kept uniform. SOLUTION: The fixing device where a toner image formed on transfer material is melted and stuck is equipped with the heating roller having a heating means and the external heating roller having an auxiliary heating means and abutting on the heating roller, and the outer circumferential surface of the external heating roller is formed in a barrel shape.
