PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base with a connecting mechanism having in the pedestal a rotating shaft which has various link mechanisms for a moving model on the base, and connecting a plurality of bases together directly or via connectors. SOLUTION: This base with the connecting mechanism is so formed that joint structures are provided in the both ends of the rotating shaft which has various link mechanisms for the model capable of expressing motion, the bases are directly connected together or connected via the connectors, and a power unit such as a motor, a spiral spring, or a manual handle is connected to a joint of the head base or the last base as a motive power, so that all of the plurality of connected bases are synchronized to transmit the motive power.
