PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity, to improve an yield, and to lower manufacture costs by improving work efficiency at the time of manufacturing a cutter in the case of forming an acute rake angle at the small blade of an integrated type cutter. SOLUTION: (a) A metallic plate (62) having the outer shape of the unfolded shape of the cutter is blanked by a press from a metallic thin plate, (b) the blanked metallic plate (62) is bent into a nearly trapezoidal shape in which a center part is almost flat in the view from the reciprocating direction of the cutter (52), (c) the center part is grooved in a direction roughly orthogonal to the reciprocating direction of the cutter from the outer side of the bent metallic plate (62) and many grooves (70) are formed such that a groove width becomes gradually narrow on the bottom side of the grooves (70), (d) the grooved metallic plate (62) is folded back inversely inside out and formed into a nearly arch shape, and (e) an outer peripheral surface is finished.
