PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device made compact and excellent in portability, realizing high visibility and having wide field. SOLUTION: A light projection surface comprising a 1st field area equivalent to a center area and a 2nd field area equivalent to a circumferential area is scanned with 1st and 2nd light beams in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction to display a synthetic image. The 1st and the 2nd light beams are turned from 1st and 2nd two-dimensional scanners. In the 1st and the 2nd two-dimensional scanners, the corresponding light beam is deflected in a 1st direction to perform scanning in a 1st optical scanning part and is condensed in a 2nd scanning part, and the deflected light beam is deflected in a 2nd direction to perform scanning in the 2nd scanning part.
