A pharmaceutical preparation contains an active ingredient for the treatment of corona viridae infections. The active ingredient is a Proteasome-Inhibitor and/or a Ubiquitin-Proteasome-Pathways (UPS) Inhibitor. An independent claim is also included for use of the active ingredient for the treatment of virus infections, prevention of viral dispersal within the organism and treatment of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and similar diseases.
