PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the identity of contents between data printed on paper or the like and electronic data readily and effectively.

SOLUTION: When printing the data stored at a database 10, the hash value of the data is calculated by applying a hash function to the data, and the calculated hash value is printed with data as a confirmation code. When confirming the identity of data stored at a printed data 13 and a database 11, the hash value of the data stored at the database 11 is calculated, it is displayed at a display or the like as a confirmation code, and enables a user to visually confirm whether the confirmation code is identical or not.
