<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface device that can save wiring and reduce cost by realizing direct connection to a USB port of an information processor and supplying power even to an external device different from a USB-compliant external device connected to the USB port. <P>SOLUTION: A USB connector part 2 of the interface device 1 has a plug 2b connectable direct to a USB port of an information processor, and a port 2c connected to the plug 2b via communication lines and connectable to a USB-compliant external device via a cable.
