<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reset circuit and a reset method for easily operating a power supply switch of a communication device body disposed at a place where a person hardly approaches such as a remote site or a height, resetting the communication device on the occurrence of abnormality in the firmware or the software at a communication device disposed at a remote site, and resetting the communication device by software. <P>SOLUTION: The reset circuit for the communication device is configured to be reset by using link information to be information about a connection in which a physical layer has been already established or not established yet to an external interface signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
