PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set opening pressure in the expansion of a jacket film caused by generation of gas without decreasing sealing reliability of an electric device element. SOLUTION: A film jacket battery 1 has a battery element and the jacket film 5 surrounding the battery element. Facing surfaces of the jacket film 5 are fusion-bonded in the periphery of the battery element to form a sealed region 5a. Non-fusion bonded parts 7a, 7b continuing to a battery element housing part are formed in a cove shape in a part of the sealed region 5a. Peeling off stress generating by expansion of the jacket film 5 caused by increase in the inner pressure of the battery element housing part is concentrated on a projecting fusion bonded part 5d between the non-fusion bonded parts 7a, 7b. A through hole 8 acting as a pressure releasing part when peeling off proceeds is formed in the projecting fusion bonded part 5d on which the peeling off stress is concentrated.
