PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of detecting the tip of a disposable tip, and to provide a dispensing device which uses the disposable tip. SOLUTION: This method of detecting the tip of the disposable tip applied for the dispensing device for conducting dispensing, by attaching the disposable tip to a nozzle, is provided with the process of moving the nozzle attached with the disposable tip to the tip end detector, and a process of detecting the tip position of the disposal tip by the tip detector.
