PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for a motor employing such an arrangement excellent in productivity as a rotor support is injection-molded to the inside of a cylindrical magnet, and capable of thinning a magnet thereby achieving further reduction in the weight of the rotor and the motor. SOLUTION: The rotor for the motor comprises a cylindrical magnet 11, and a rotor support 12 injection-molded to the inside of the magnet 11 and integrated. A part 11A swelling radially inwardly is formed on the inner circumferential surface of the magnet 11, a part 12B fitted integrally to the swelling part 11A of the magnet 11 is formed on the rotor support 12, and a gap 12A is formed between the rotor support 12 and the inner circumferential surface of the magnet 11.
