<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the following performance of a roll as a thrust generating member to a recessed cam while reducing contact pressure at the contact point of the roll with the face of the recessed cam, as compared with the case of a ball. <P>SOLUTION: A thrust generating mechanism 21 gives isolating operation between a receiving plate 26 and a push plate 24 of a thrust device 5 for thrusting a main clutch 3. It has cam grooves 28, 29 radially provided in a plurality of places in the rotating direction on the opposite face of at least one of the receiving plate and the push plate opposed to each other in the axial direction and formed in a shallow V-shape in the rotating direction and the roll 27 mounted between the opposed faces of the cam grooves. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
