<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loop antenna capable of obtaining an ideal radiation pattern, easily taking impedance matching with a wireless circuit, and eliminating the need for a central segment and center feeding so as to enhance a degree of mount freedom. <P>SOLUTION: Four pieces of segment conductor patterns 41 to 44 are formed to configure a rectangular loop by utilizing both sides of a frame-formed double side printed wiring board 4a, an overlap structure is adopted for ends of the conductor patterns 41, 42 and 43, 44 between which the printed wiring board 4a is interposed so as to apply capacitive coupling between the conductor patterns 41, 42 and 43, 44. Thus, an ideal radiation pattern is obtained for a wireless communication apparatus used in a state close to a lossy dielectric medium, the impedance matching with the wireless circuit is easily taken, and the need for the central segment and a feeding at a center part is eliminated to enhance a degree of mount freedom resulting that the loop antenna suitable for a built-in antenna of a small-sized wireless communication apparatus and the wireless communication apparatus provided with the loop antenna can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
