PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desuperheater allowing easy on-site installation of a spray nozzle to a desuperheater body within a tolerance of size. SOLUTION: The desuperheater having the spray nozzle sending a low temperature fluid into high temperature steam is provided with a support structure supporting a spray nozzle tip 27 by a passage pipe part 9 of the high temperature steam, and a seal structure sealing the high temperature steam. The support structure is provided with a ring 19 for tolerance adjustment supporting an outer surface of the spray nozzle tip 27 by an appropriate length, a ring part 20 fixed to the passage pipe and becoming an integrally fixed relationship with the ring for tolerance adjustment, and a bolt 22 positioning the ring for tolerance adjustment in a predetermined position. The seal structure has a composition provided with a base part 25 fixed to the passage pipe part so as to surround the support structure, and an end plate 26 fixed to the base part. The ring for tolerance adjustment has an inner diameter that is slightly larger than an outer diameter of the spray nozzle tip, and a slit in parallel with a spray nozzle axis direction.
