PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric carpet control device capable of obtaining a comfortable heating effect by setting an optimum initial current flowing time. SOLUTION: This electric carpet control device is provided with a temperature detecting means mounted to an electric carpet having a heating wire, to detect temperature, and a control means for controlling the heating wire based on a detection signal from the temperature detecting means. The control means is provided with a temperature change width computing means for computing temperature change width based on the detection signal from the temperature detecting means, and an initial current flowing time setting means for estimating the surface temperature of the electric carpet based on the temperature change width computed by the temperature change width computing means and determining the initial current flowing time of the heating wire based on the estimated temperature.
