PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a habitable room in an apartment house capable of installing independent windows in all rooms even if the span of the habitable room is as small as approximately 6 m in the width of a partition wall and capable of being easily constructed. SOLUTION: In the apartment house formed in a multi-storied structure, in which a plurality of habitable rooms are continuously arranged in each story, and in which a shared corridor joining the habitable rooms to each other is formed, a porch 6 with a specified width extending by a specified length from the shared corridor 5 is formed on the habitable room 1 side along partition walls 2 and 3 partitioning the adjacent habitable rooms 1, an entrance door 10 is installed at a part of a partition wall 7 formed along the side edge of the porch 6 on the opposite side of the partition wall 2.
