PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus with which even in the case of being an injection casting for high melting joint metal having≥about 1200°C the melting point, the molten metal is difficult to flow into a gap between a plunger and a sleeve and the sliding movement of the plunger in the sleeve can smoothly be performed and a high quality of a casting can stably be produced. SOLUTION: This apparatus is an injection casting apparatus provided with the sleeve 27 disposed so as to be freely advanced/retreated toward a sprue 4; the plunger 33 disposed so as to be freely slid in the sleeve; a heating means 37 for heating and melting a raw material block supplied in a raw material holding part formed with the inner wall of the sleeve and the plunger; and a raw material block supplying means 47 for supplying the raw material block into the raw material holding part from the upper part, and the above plunger and/or the sleeve, are provided with a cooling means.
