PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a milling machine capable of simply adjusting the particle size of an obtained powder material. SOLUTION: The milling machine is equipped with a pair of mortars 6 and 7 brought into contact with each other by energizing a spring to be rotationally driven relatively and constituted so as to grind a material to be ground between the opposed contact surfaces of both mortars. An operation part 20c for adjusting the spring forces of energizing springs 25a and 25b and capable of being directly operated by the hand is arranged to the outer surface of the milling machine.
