PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a milling machine constituted so as not to contaminate a floor surface with a powder at the time of disassembling. SOLUTION: The milling machine is equipped with a pair of mortars 6 and 7 arranged in a relatively rotatable manner in a state that the opposed surfaces 300 of them are brought into contact with each other, a motor 11 becoming a drive source, a power transmission mechanism 3 for transmitting the drive force of the motor 11 to the pair of mortars 6 and 7 to relatively drive the mortars 6 and 7 rotationally, and a feed route 4 of the ground matter 9 ground between the opposed surfaces 300 of the mortars 6 and 7. In the milling machine, the power transmission mechanism 3 is divided into two parts such as a motor side transmission mechanism 32 and a mortar side transmission mechanism 33. The milling machine is provided with a drive unit 1 having the motor 11 and the motor side transmission mechanism 32 in a housing 10, and a grinding unit 2 having the mortar side transmission mechanism 33 and the mortars 6 and 7 and the feed route 4 of the ground matter 9 in a housing 20. The drive unit 1 and the grinding unit 2 are provided in a freely detachable manner so that the motor side transmission mechanism 32 and the mortar side transmission mechanism 33 are connected when both unit 1 and 2 are united.
