PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tip plate disposed to the outlet of a rotor which provides aggregate with a centrifugal force to crush it and produce gravel and sand, and a vertical spindle impact crusher having such a tip plate. SOLUTION: The tip plate includes a shank disposed to the outlet of the rotor which provides the aggregate with the centrifugal force and a tip connected with the shank to prevent it from wearing. On the outside face of the shank, a housing groove is formed to accommodate the tip. The housing groove has a shape in which the inner width positioned at the inside of the shank is longer than the outer width positioned at the outside face of the shank. The tip has a shape corresponding to the above shown shape of the housing groove. Since the tip can be assembled to the shank without using a connecting member, a brazing process which is a high temperature heat treatment process for heating silver solder can be omitted. Accordingly, the phenomenon of the tip cracking due to high temperature can be also prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
