FIELD: medicine, otorhinolaryngology. ^ SUBSTANCE: in the content of tonsillar lacunae one should detect the concentration of dienic conjugates, conjugated ketotriens and Schiff's bases to calculate coefficient of inflammatory activity (CIA) by the following formula: CIA=DC/(CKT+SB), where DC - concentration of dienic conjugates; CKT - concentration of conjugated ketotriens; SB - concentration of Schiff's bases and at values being up to 1.24 one should diagnose compensated form of chronic tonsillitis, and at values being above 1.24 it is possible to diagnose decompensated form of chronic tonsillitis. ^ EFFECT: higher reliability and simplicity of the technique applied. ^ 2 ex, 3 tbl |
