FIELD: mechanical engineering; press heating plates. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed heating plate has body with protective casing and electric heaters mounted in its parallel passages and provided with shields, as well as thermal loss compensation system which includes metal heat-insulated cover plates with passages for said electric heaters. Electric heaters are mounted in guides inside body. Each shield of electric heaters is made in form of rigidly interconnected two shielding plates located at spaced relation to each other. Shielding plates are mounted at the top and at the bottom of heaters; one plate which is nearest to heaters possesses higher degree of heat conduction. Body is formed by outer plates with blind holes on inner side where insert with shielding plates are mounted.
