FIELD: playing equipment, in particular, playing piece for chess. ^ SUBSTANCE: playing piece has upper and lower parts. Upper part is formed as predetermined sign of piece and lower part has supporting base and weight. Lower part of piece is made as spherical member with truncated segment, with truncated zone making circular supporting base within which central slot is provided in lower part body. Weight is rigidly fixed in central slot. Central slot is made cylindrical. Weight is made in the form of metal cylindrical rod having radius substantially equal to radius of supporting base. Upper end part of metal cylindrical rod has concave spherical surface with needle-type protrusion provided centrally thereof and sharp portions provided in its edge. Metal cylindrical rod has radial groove provided around circumference of its cylindrical surface. Usage of weight, particular arrangement and structure thereof provide spontaneous returning of playing piece to vertical position in case any attempting to deflect it from this position is performed, and also allows playing piece to be retained on board in corresponding position, when weight is fixed therein. ^ EFFECT: simplified construction and convenient usage. ^ 4 cl, 1 dwg |
