<p>A tracer head (10) has a circuit with a sensor unit (SU), a CPU, a transmission stage (TS) and a source of direct current (DC) voltage. During a tracer pin's (11) excursion, the SU triggers an electric signal converted into an electromagnetic signal in the TS. The circuit is connected so that a voltage transformer links between the DC source and the TS. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a tracer system.</p> |
