<p>The shutoff appliances are situated at the open end (2) of the gas canister (1). The gas in the gas storage system is at high pressure and or low temperature. A housing (7) is contained in the space enclosed by the section (5) at the open end of the gas canister. The housing is positioned on a lid (12) tightly sealing the open end of the gas canister.
