The rotary bearing mounting, with a nominal fracture point, has a rotary bearing (30) between a static bearing carrier housing (28) and a bearing carrier (26) which rotates around a rotary axis. The bearing is fixed axially and radially in the carrier housing with its outer bearing ring (34) secured on two contact planes (36,38). Nominal fracture rings (44,50), with a given ring thickness (58), are held in grooves (40a,46a) at the carrier housing and grooves (40b,46b) at the outer bearing ring. The rings are of a material with a known brittleness, using a metal or an inelastic ceramic. |
