摘要 FIELD: mechanical engineering; materials handling facilities. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for braking lifting and transporting devices, for instance, cranes, in case of danger of collision. Proposed bridge crane contains hydraulically parallel-connected spring-and-hydraulic buffers with rods and braking device made in form of three-phase synchronous electric generators. Rotor of each electric generator is connected through step-up gear with corresponding running wheel. Shafts of running wheels set rotors of synchronous electric generators into rotation, three-phase voltage is induced in their stator windings which is fed through movable contacts and three-phase electromagnetic relay to three-phase load resistor. With synchronous electric generators operating, brake electromagnetic torque appears on load resistor which prevents rotation of rotors of synchronous electric generators. ^ EFFECT: improved efficiency of braking, reduced loads on metal structure. ^ 2 dwg
