FIELD: construction of pipeline transporting systems, namely joint assemblies of plastic tubes reinforced by rigid metallic carcass in the form of lengthwise rods arranged uniformly along circle and cross reinforcement wound on rods. ^ SUBSTANCE: tube joint assembly includes plastic electrically heated coupling. Said coupling has cylindrical cavities for placing ends of joined tubes having on their ends at least two annular saw tooth like teeth whose adjacent cylindrical surfaces coincide with lower surface of lengthwise rods of reinforcement and whose outer surfaces are formed by outer and inner surfaces of tubes. Annular teeth arranged on end of one tube form profile adjoined with that formed by means of annular teeth arranged on end of other tube. Reinforcing lengthwise rods of both tubes are mutually shifted by pitch half along circle. ^ EFFECT: enhanced loading capability of pipeline. ^ 3 dwg
