FIELD: packing equipment, particularly for packaging articles or materials under special atmospheric or gaseous conditions. ^ SUBSTANCE: method and device for filling and sealing a pair of containers 3, 3' made as envelopes or bags are disclosed. Containers 3, 3' may have side and/or bottom folds and are formed of flexible material. Method involves sealing containers under deep vacuum. To perform vacuum-sealing operation device is provided with station 30 located after filling station 25.
