Shelf arrangement with integrated power supply for illumination devices

The device has multiple juxtaposable slats (2) to be fixed against a wall. Longitudinal grooves (3) are formed on the slats and/or at the junction of the slats. Power supply conductors (11-13) longitudinally extend from the grooves for supplying power to a fluorescent tube light (7). Support consoles (5) are mounted in the grooves for supporting detachable shelves (6, 6`) in which the light is fixed.
