Variable inlet channel (5) for a combustion engine comprises a channel inlet region (18) and an adjoining near-valve region (17). A bulge (19) is formed in the region near to the inlet valve (7), while a guide element (22) with a guide surface (23) rotates around the valve so that the guide surface opens or shuts-off the bulge region. The guide element is positioned using an actuator, which is controlled dependent on combustion engine parameters. The invention also relates to a corresponding combustion engine cylinder head with an inventive valve inlet channel. |
