FIELD: packing equipment, particularly for forming packs of different articles, lumber, fittings, metal ingots, bricks, combined furniture components and so on. ^ SUBSTANCE: device has body with slider installed in it. Slider is provided with punch. Device also comprises tightening lever with tightening roller, pressing lever, base with matrix, movable thrust journal and strap straightening rest. Movable thrust journal may rotate at least in two perpendicular planes. Support thrust journal surface and surface of base are spherical. Operating thrust journal surface facing tightening roller has concave cylindrical shape. ^ EFFECT: decreased strap deformation during tightening thereof, possibility of self-aligning under load application and, as a result, uniform touch of operating thrust journal surface and tightening roller with metal strip, increased strap surface over which pressing force is distributed. ^ 3 cl, 4 dwg |
