A device for attaching fittings, such as dividers, product trays, etc., on shop and warehouse shelves, which shelves are provided with a mounting strip (2) running along at least one longitudinal edge of the shelf. The fitting (3) is provided with a gripping device at one end, which gripping device is arranged to engage over a mounting strip (2). The gripping device comprises a channel (25) which is open at the bottom and is delimited by two side walls and a part joining these together. The channel runs essentially at right angles to the longitudinal extent of the fitting (3). At least one of the walls of the channel is designed with projections projecting into the channel. The projections are arranged to interact with the mounting strip (2) in order to prevent unintentional removal of the fitting. |
