The instrument, consisting of a needle for puncturing and electrical stimulation of a nerve bundle, having a fixed base, a cannula (1, 2) and a catheter that can slide inside it, has the cannula made with a lengthwise slit (6, 7) from end to end to permit lateral separation of the catheter. The cannula base and tube are made from different synthetic resins so that the former is relatively rigid and the latter relatively supple, and the proximal end of the tube is flared and stuck in the slit. The bases of the cannula and needle have a locking system (10, 13) to fasten and release them by a relative rotation. |
