The kiosk has display packs (13) with compartments (14) arranged in rows and columns. Each compartment has copies (10) of publications in preset positions. A driving unit (23) permits to move one copy between the in and out positions of a compartment. A copy blocking unit (25) permits to block the copy in position with respect to a handling head (22) when the compartment is in out position.
