A coolant fluid is vaporized by heat exchange with the high-temperature and low pressure fumes, and with the medium and high-pressure fumes as they pass through heat exchangers (E01, E02, E03) with the energy from the heat exchangers recuperated by a turbine (T) linked to a power generator (GE2). The vaporized fluid is expanded and mechanical energy recuperated by turbines (T1, T2), and the fluid is condensed by cooling and then compressed for return to the heat exchangers. The mechanical energy is used for the extraction of carbon dioxide from the high-pressure fumes, and the gas is compressed and stored in an underground tank.</p> |
