A procedure for applying a complex layer of transparent and non-slip material to a composition surface of a thermo-setting or thermoplastic material, metal or wood consists of applying the complex layer to the upper surface of an article before closing the mould. In the case of an article made from a thermo-setting plastic material, for example, the complex transparent layer is applied to the upper surface after covering a fibreglass mat with thermo-setting resin, a decorative layer and a crystal resin layer in a mould preheated to a temperature of over 115 degrees C. The mould is then closed and the moulded article is polymerised, after which the mould is opened and the finished product removed. |
