PURPOSE: A method for preparing a new culture medium improved in homeostasis and physical property using a fiber by-product is provided, thereby providing the culture medium suitable for environmentally friendly hydroponics and reducing the cost of production 30% or more. CONSTITUTION: A fiber by-product sheet is cut into a size of 100cm long, 20cm wide and 0.75cm thin. Eight sheets thereof are laminated into a shape of slab to provide a culture medium in an amount of 4L per a tree and then packed with a plastic film into a thickness of 0.1mm. The fiber by-product is susceptible to microbiological degradation after the elapse of a predetermined time and easily handled during sterilization. |
