The process involves varying a control parameter e.g. frequency, of a control circuit (1) that is utilized for controlling a direct current electric motor (3) in a motor vehicle. An on-board computer is utilized for outputting starting control and motor positioning control that are transmitted to the control circuit through an access port (4) based on a communication protocol. An independent claim is also included for an application of an electrical motor controlling process to a system for controlling movements of parts to the interior of signaling and lighting device of a motor vehicle.
