<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability of a seal function by making sure to obtain an excellent seal function attained if elastic gaskets abut on each other, even if the gaskets are slightly displaced. <P>SOLUTION: This gasket 13 for a fuel cell is interposed between mutually facing separators 2 among a plurality of plate-like bodies composing cells, and is composed of a first rubber gasket 13A bonded to one of the facing separators 2, and a second rubber gasket 13B bonded to the other. In a prescribed assembled condition in which these separators 2 are fastened in the direction to make them approach each other, the first and second gaskets 13A, 13B are brought into pushing contact with each other by being compressed and deformed. The tip sides 15a of the first and second gaskets 13A, 13B which are brought into pushing contact with each other are formed into inclined surfaces mutually inclined in the same direction as the pushing direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
